Sam is a singer, guitarist, and bouzouki player with a decade of experience making music with communities across Yorkshire and the North. Sam’s work spans community music workshops, soundscapes, verbatim songwriting, interactive gigs, and intimate live shows. He has collaborated with organisations including Live Music Now, Swan Song, YY&M, AMP, Under the Stars, Grimm & Co, and Let’s Go Yorkshire. He has led songwriting sessions in prisons, schools, and universities—always with a focus on creativity, well-being, and letting participants lead the way. With his bands Hebble, Samh, Band of Jays, and Jambalaya, Sam has played top folk and alternative festivals around the UK, with music featured on national and international radio.
