Musician

Eve Harrison is a composer, trumpet player, conductor, creative consultant and facilitator whose work centres on bringing the joy and impact of music to as many people as possible. She has extensive experience working with young people, beginner ensembles, orchestras and community groups, creating inclusive and imaginative musical experiences.

An experienced practitioner, Eve has devised and delivered a wide range of creative projects. These include leading a primary school massed wind band with the Liverpool Philharmonic’s In Harmony programme (Deputy Artistic Director), collaborative composition commissions with the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland, creating a cutlery orchestra and community songs with Manchester Camerata, interactive light and music installations for London Sinfonietta and writing opera sketches for the Royal Opera House.

At the heart of Eve’s creative practice is her long-standing work with Jessie’s Fund, for whom she has been delivering music sessions for over 10 years. Her own compositions are inspired by myths, nature and humanity, reflecting a deep curiosity about the world and our place within it.

Eve performs regularly with Manchester Chamber Brass and The Rubber Duck Orchestra, alongside her work with Music for Life (Innovation and Development Manager) and portfolio career as a composer and music facilitator.
